The plot here is:
Buckaroo Banzai, a half-ninja/half-cowboy, rockstar/scientist/rocket-car test-driver? who discovered a pathway to the 8th dimension. At which point, John Lithgow and his henchman, Christopher Lloyd (John Bigboote), try to steal this discovery! Meanwhile aliens are threatening to incite World War 3.
